UK's Irwin Mitchell Private Wealth Adds To Immigration Team

Irwin Mitchell Private Wealth, part of UK law firm Irwin Mitchell, has appointed immigration solicitor Ben Xu to a new role that will see him concentrate on providing immigration advice to international high net worth individuals and businesses.

Xu previously worked at Joelson Wilson, where he specialised in advising private and corporate clients on immigration matters such as Tier 1 and Tier 2 visas, Employer’s Sponsorship Licence applications, Representative of Overseas Business, Dependents’ visas, EEA Family Permits, Tier 4 visas, indefinite leave to remain, naturalisation, immigration appeals and judicial reviews.

A speaker of Mandarin and English, Xu qualified as a solicitor in 2013. He graduated from the University of Leicester in 2006, and completed an MBA at the University of Sunderland in 2011. 

Irwin Mitchell announced the launch of Irwin Mitchell Private Wealth in April this year; the business draws together expertise of the teams from Berkeley Law, Berkeley Hurrell, Thomas Eggar and Irwin Mitchell into a single offering.
